We all love jam, but how to enjoy that fruit without all the sugar?
Enter the wee little chia seed. It expands to multiple times its size, creating a thick gel coating when mixed with liquid. This gel works wonders for thickening jam, while using minimal sugar. Chia seeds are also loaded with B vitamins and lots of other nutrients, so it’s win win.
You can use any berries in this recipe. We just chose ones that are bountiful in right now in Squamish.
